Cole Haan: Parametric 3D Auxetic Tread (2019)

Algorithmically generated outsole tread patterns for dress shoes. Using black and white transformation maps designed in Adobe Illustrator, a matrix of squares is transformed into an auxetic array via image sampling in Grasshopper.
